Inspiring Young Minds: Earlier this month, Bigelow Labs had the joy and privilege of hosting local fourth graders from Boothbay Region Elementary School for an action-packed visit. The students were able to see what a cutting-edge ocean science lab looked like, right in their back yard. They also met with several of our researchers and participated in fun learning activities to complement their curriculum — like extracting DNA from strawberries, which is hands-down the best-smelling experiment at our lab.
